    Settling In

Have you ever tried to spend time with God but you just couldn’t shut off your brain? It’s like your thoughts bounce all over the place and you can’t concentrate.

The reality is that being present to God can be challenging. That’s why we believe that before we spend time with God, it’s best to take a few minutes to let our body, mind, and soul quiet down.

At Seek Well, we do this through a practice that we call Settling.

    Listening

If we don’t slow down and pay attention to what’s going on beneath the surface of our lives, we’ll accumulate a mess in our hearts and a soul that needs major repair.

In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus invites us to come to him os that he can attend to our neglected souls. Then, his Spirit illuminates what is really going on under the surface and He can speak to the areas of our heart that need attention.

    What's Next?

Can you imagine what would happen if you created space on a regular basis to be still and listen to God? We know from experience, it would change your life!

When we listen to God and obey, real change happens. He transforms our hearts, closing the gap between who we are today and who He made us to be - one act of obedience at a time.

As we wrap up this retreat, we want to offer a few practical next steps to help you on your journey.
